stop mucking around with a brand new sound
steph5826, Cash's Saints Crocs came today, thanks so much! They are too big for him just yet, which he's very sad about, he keeps trying to put them on and clomp around in them, but he trips :) It's funny how his Caymans and me & Sean's athens are the only shoes he is interested in, he always wants to try them on and take them off himself.
I hit my face on I think the car door the other day & have a big bruise under my eye, but neither Sean nor I had noticed it because it blends right in with my dark circles.
I don't think there's anything wrong with naming your son Roman. But when you then name your other son Milan and your daughter Venezia....that's a bit much. In my opinion.
Also, Kingston Stefani Rossdale definitely lucked out getting named that & not Zuma Nesta Rock like his brother.
There are many things I love about my husband, but one of the first things I loved about him when we met was that he's as big a proponent of retail therapy as I am, maybe more.
Last weekend we were in a bit of a post-vacation funk and he decided we'd feel better if we got some new clothes. He'd gotten an unexpected reimbursement from the VA, so we hit the clearance sites at AE and Old Navy and got a few things each (and a bunch for Cash at ON) and now it's like Christmas, waiting for the packages.
When we were first dating, we were at the mall and passed by an Express store. There was a huge poster in the window of a girl in leather pants with a big belt and a black sleeveless top. Sean slowed down and said "Man, that outfit would look so hot on you! Let's get it!" and dragged me into the store. Had me try it on, bought it all on the spot, complete with an extra top, didn't even check the pricetags.
How could I not have been smitten?
I don't even remember what happened last night, I was so tired. I kept falling asleep in Cash's room, which led to total failure of the program we're trying to follow, since that needs me to be conscious. Oh well, nothing for it but to get back on track tonight.
I did get a lot of sleep, quantity is not as good as quality but better than nothing. Cash woke up in a great mood, so I can't argue.
We did our morning routine then set off to Tonia's for swimming. Cash just screams with happiness whenever we pull up there, I dread the day we have to go there and not get in the pool!
Thankfully that day was not today. Cash is so brave now, he just goes tearing right in, will jump off the side to me and everything. I love it!
Anna & Michelle couldn't come so it was just four of us. We had a nice time, after the boys were all swum out, we went inside and let them play while we tried to hash out the logistics of our little home preschooling idea. It's hard to coordinate so many people's different schedules, but I think we'll be able to work something out.
Cash started randomly having a meltdown when everyone else was leaving, then he cheered up, then got fussy again. It was just like last night, where it comes from nowhere and has no visible cause. All I can think is that his eye teeth are coming hot on the heels of his molars & they hurt.
I picked up my bag & he started to wave bye-bye, he has been doing that lately, he figured out that when I pick up my bag we're going!
I managed to catch the finals of the show jumping after Cash fell asleep, so I got at least a paltry Olympic horse fix.
He slept for almost three hours, swimming always tuckers him out! I exercised, wrote this, worked on his Christmas wishlist, had a nice chat on the phone with Michelle. Once Mr B was awake, he ate a big helping of sweet potatoes & we went out walking. He beeps his little horn almost the whole way, it's so cute.
My only concern is that now he;s unprotected and pretty much at head level of any big dogs. We don't usually see dogs outside their fenced yards, but today a big dog was barking at us from his lawn and I started to think that if he did run over to us, I'd have no real way to protect Cash if the dog should try to bite him for any reason.
Maybe in addition to rigging up a cupholder, I need a pepper spray holster too. I've never worried about dogs coming after me, I can hold my own with a dog no problem. But Cash in that car is vulnerable in the unlikely event we run into an aggressive dog & I need to think about that!
Sean was here when we got back & said he was thinking of getting himself some KFC for dinner. I suggested that I pick him up a rotisserie chicken from the grocery instead, since I needed to go anyhow.
He & Cash split that for dinner, I had a salad.
We watched two of the last three Freaks & Geeks episodes, I think we'll probably end up buying the set.
Cash went to sleep without a hitch, but woke up two minutes later for his fourth poop of the day. I'd say I don't know what he's been eating but I do, so I'll say I don't know why it's making him poop so much!
So we had to start all over and he didn't get to sleep until ten. Now Sean is working on homework and I'm watching Fat Pets on Animal Planet.
Mr B is very skeptical of what he sees on television

And sometimes he is just plain incredulous
OMG!!!!
