Quick like a bunny
Sean was able to take a half day today & meet us at the movies, so that was fun for Cash and I. Before the film started, we used some of my Old Navy gift card to get some new jammies for Mr B because he's lately started to get excited about having pictures of things like dogs and trucks on his jim-jams & gets sad when they are just solid or stripes. So now he has some with gingerbread men & some with footballs. I wanted the airplane ones too, but they didn't have any big enough.

For all his love of the big Marley cut out, Mr B was not too impressed by Marley on the big screen. He was more interested in playing ball and dancing. And snacking, of course.

















Myself, I found the movie pretty much the same as the book, in terms of my reaction to it. It was cute in places, I cried at the appropriate spots, but it didn't feel like a cohesive story to me, and was neither as funny nor as emotionally engaging as I'd expected.

Though it's not the best movie to see two hours after you've called to set the euthanasia appointment for your most beloved kitty cat.

Friday will be Chico's last day with us :(
