Happy 4th of July weekend, US people!

Looks like Sean's truck is going to be done tomorrow, so we've been blessedly spared any further taking to/picking up from work trips.

There's a family picnic on base tomorrow, Sean volunteered me to make mac & cheese, so I did that tonight. I sampled so much of it, I don't think I'll eat any tomorrow.

Oh ha ha, who am I kidding?

Cash & I picked blueberries at a friend's house today. Tonight we had vanilla Blue Bell topped with them, strawberries and whipped cream. Yummmmmmmmmmy!

Cash is so silly though, he will not even taste a strawberry. He's never tried one. He just won't put one in his mouth, even with ice cream or whipped cream on it. He will pick it off the spoon and put it back in the bowl.

But he liked the blueberries.

He was funny picking them, he's so used to being told he can't put the berries he picks off random bushes and such in his mouth that he was really nervous about eating the berries as we picked them, even when I kept telling him it was okay to eat this kind, he kept holding them up to his tongue at looking at me like "You're sure? You're really sure it's okay? What about this one, can I put this one in my mouth? You positive?"

It was so hot, and the house we were picking at is for sale, so there was nothing in it and no electricity. After about an hour of sweating, three of us decided to adjourn to Ashley's and let Cash play trains with Tyler while the two babies looked at each other and the mommies talked. It was so nice, I always love when we have a nice small group in a small contained area, so we can actually talk to each other as opposed to chasing children.

I didn't give him enough warning we were leaving, basically I realized it was getting late and just kind of up and went, he was pretty upset with me. Tyler let him borrow an engine though, so that mollified him somewhat.

We had to get the mac & cheese supplies at the grocery on our way home, Cash also picked out a giant Cup o Noodles (really a bowl o noodles). He's never actually plucked anything from the shelf and put it in the cart before, I was so amused that I let him have it.

He fell asleep pretty soon after we got back in the car and had a two hour nap. When he woke up, he helped me make the noodles, then him and daddy had a fantastic playtime outdoors while I went to water aerobics.

I was so happy that my SYTYCD votes might have done some good last night!!!

Cash gave me so much love this evening, he is just so full of kisses for me and I can not get enough! I love bedtime because we cuddle and talk and he gives me kisses and we read 4 or 5 stories and then he falls asleep next to me, and I always lay there for a few minutes and just enjoy the sweet sleeping baby before I get up and go on with my night.

I truly love that little boy so much.

As for Mr B, he truly loves grampy's truck

This will be mine someday, you know

You can go bye bye, I've got it

Wait a minute, what on earth....?

This is the most amazing sippy cup I've ever seen!

He is actually saying "Ooooooh" here

Tea always tastes better in the open air

He did a group motorcycle ride in support of breast cancer research, they were selling them there. But if you search for that phrase online you'll turn up a ton of different shirts with the same slogan

LOL...I have a mug that same size, and I can't go out in public with it without someone making some comment about it being so ginormous, asking me how my kidneys are doing, blah blah blah.

Yeah, FiL gets a lot of guff about his too. Even though proportionally speaking, it's about the same size to him as Cash's sippys are to him!

Those photos are so cool, I love the one of him sitting in the back of the truck on the wheel casing!

He is so good to check with you before he ate all the berries, he's adorable! Jack has started this new thing that if he likes something he will take a bite and keep the food item as close to his lips as he can ready for the next bite as soon as possible!!!!

He's had it drilled into him for so long every time he pulls something off a bush or plant "not in your mouth, not in your mouth, don't put the berries in your mouth!" I'm sure it was very confusing to him when I was like "Okay, you can pick these and eat them!"

Ohmygosh - that sippy is bigger than Cash!! Precious! :)

I love bedtime too - I love snuggling with girl and watching her sleep. It is truly one of the best thing ever. :)

FiL was so tickled that Cash liked it, he gave it to him. Trouble is, Cash wants me to put water in it, then he turns it upside down and makes himself a puddle to jump in.

I know eventually I will have to get Cash to learn to lay in bed and fall asleep all by himself, but I'm going to miss that bedtime cuddling when he gets big, I'm enjoying it now!

Nolan was like that with strawberries, too. He finally tried one, but he hates the seeds. Crazy boys!

The cup is bigger than his head.lol

Isn't it funny? I can't figure out why he'll put almost anything in his mouth but will not touch a strawberry for anything except to get it off his spooon!
