This is my first season with watching SYTYCD and I was overwhelmed both by the number of dancers and how many hours the show sucked up each week. I never watch it live and had to wait until the weekends to sit and watch that much TV in one sitting. So last night was the first time I really figured out who I do and do not like.

I think Melissa should have gone instead of Caitlin, but Caitlin is from MD, so I'm a little partial to her. I think it was right for Philip to go, and am glad they didn't hold that Russian folk dance against them - that was ridiculous. I love Brandon and Jeanette (though him moreso than her), and love Randy and Evan. Jason's smile makes me smile every time.

I don't get the hype over Kayla either, and it boggles me that there seem to be SO MANY people who are all about her.

I fast forward through Mary Murphy now. I can't take her. I tried to sit and listen to her commentary, but the shrieking makes my ear drums tremble.
